Velvet Blonde, one of the Central Coast’s most popular hair salons since it’s establishment in 2001, is in a stunning premises in cosmopolitan Hardys Bay.
Weekenders and holiday-makers heading to the Central Coast can now enjoy a new level of sophistication in personal pampering, while enjoying their break from city life.
Velvet Blonde proprietor Shelley King explained the reason for the salon’s success. “Because a visit to the salon is much-needed time out for our busy clientele, we’ve installed heated leather massage chairs at the basins, and we have fresh flowers, velvet lavender eye bags and scented candles to soothe jangled nerves. We’re trying to offer a complete sensory experience to our valued customers.”
The salon has a French opulence with scarlet velvet curtains, a chandelier and antique furniture sourced from around the world. Velvet Blonde also stocks an exquisite range of hand-made Italian leather shoes, as well as leather bags, belts and accessories. A range of silver and leather jewellery from Mexico is also available.
Velvet Blonde can also provide entire wedding packages including hair and makeup services for increasingly popular out-of-town weddings.
“We strive to make a visit to Velvet Blonde the ultimate relaxing experience for our clients,” said Shelley. “Next time you’re on the Central Coast, leave the family in the holiday house and indulge yourself.”
